Children under the age of 18 should have their hearing aids cover by insurance companies. There are some states that mandate this coverage, but not all of them. I would like to see all states mandated to cover hearing aids for children. Hearing aids cost anywhere from $2,000-$5,000. Insurance companies cover eye glasses, so why can't they cover hearing aids?
