According to research trends in overweight and obesity in US children suggest the escalating problem of excess weight has now reached epidemic proportions. Findings point to early chronic illness risks for children who are OW or OB.

This issue is especially true for children in the US, as it affects health, physical and mental capacities and activities. Children who live with OW or OB face shorter life expectancy and risk having a life of physical or emotional limitations.

Lets insure that we are able to provide assistance to this epidemic as it affects not only health, but education, and performance. These children will not be able to provide to the community if the were in such a situation. Focusing on nutrition is important, but also expensive. Physical activity is the better option.
