Mandate at least one hour of physical fitness per day in all schools, and fitness assessments to end of year exams.

Created by J.J. on November 25, 2012

Obesity is an epidemic. In order to prevent excessive weight gain in students across the country something needs to be done to bring back attention to physical fitness and health.

All students should have no less than one hour of physical fitness training and education per day to encourage positive fitness gains and results. Students need to be trained to seek out physical fitness and taught how to exercise properly.

Additionally, to ensure training is positive and result oriented, end of year exams should include a physical fitness assessment.

End of year exams are listed as a top reason that schools now limit physical education. To combat this mentality make assessments a mandatory part of end of year exams.
