We ask the Obama administration to mandate LGBT+ safe sex education in schools. Sexual education in public schools today only covers heterosexual sexual intercourse. Some will cover oral sex however this is not enough. 3-4% of Americans identify as LGBT+. That means in a school of 1000 students 30 to 40 kids identify as LGBT+, maybe even more. Though to some that number may be small to put it into perspective in 2014 America's population was 318.9 million. There are 11,161,500 LGBT+ identifying Americans. By including this population we can help keep American safe from STDs such as AIDS, HPV, and Syphilis which plague us today when a simple condom or dental dam can be used to prevent the spread of these dangerous and sometimes fatal infections. Let's keep EVERYONE in America disease free!
