Mandate comprehensive, medically accurate, sex education in public schools.

Created by J.K. on August 10, 2015

It is time that this country mandate comprehensive, medically accurate, sex education in public schools. The current laws and standards are scattershot, ineffective, and do not require medically accurate information in many cases.

Comprehensive sex education programs have been demonstrated to lower teen pregnancy risks, lower STD transmission rates, and better prepare America's youth to make good decisions regarding the choice to have sex.

In addition, comprehensive sex education programs could be used to educate people about LGBTQ and women's issues. Which is an important step in eliminating discrimination.
