Mandate minimum standards for voter access that apply in all states

In the last few years, many Republican controlled states have attempted to enact rules to interfere with citizens' (particularly those that they believe might not vote for Republians), right to vote. These vary from state to state, but include cutting back hours of early voting, requiring photo IDs, and not providing adequate voting machines so that voters were required to wait several hours in line. These efforts to deprive targeted citizens of their fundamental right to vote must be stopped immediately by immediately establishing minimum requirements that apply in all Federal elections in all states. The aim should be to encourage and facilitate voting by the maximum number of citizens, not to try and prevent certain targeted groups from being able to exercise this fundamental right.
