By mandating a four day work week and a three day weekend, the government would increase quality of life for its citizens exponentially. This would not only give the government a much needed popularity boost, but would allow families to spend more time together, increase leisure travel and spending which is good for the economy and would increase the health of the nation, providing more time to spend outdoors being active rather than in the office, ultimately lifting the burden of health care costs. I recommend that Monday be integrated into the weekend schedule, as that day has suffered more than enough hatred and should be given a break.
