The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is mandated to compile and maintain an exhaustive database of all non-profit organizations working on any aspect of climate change- research, abatement, adaptation, and resiliency planning. The database would be searchable and available to the public. The federal government would utilize this database to explore opportunities for partnerships with these non-profits to engage communities in addressing climate change.
