mandate non-essential employers to be closed on 5 holidays. New Years, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, & Christmas.

Created by D.K. on November 27, 2014

The 5 holidays were chosen due to popularity and USA tradition. Retailers want to be open to capture more of the almighty dollar, but at the expense of family values. When the core values of family are taken away from our young teens and adults, we as a society suffer further down the road of life. Government can't mandate families to sit together and communicate, but this great nation can mandate our businesses to take a break for 5 days a year. People will still shop and spend money at the same pace, because every business will be put on the same playing field.
