New fathers in the U.S are often taken away from their families to keep money in the household and often times miss the birth and or early development of their children.
During this time, stay-at-home mothers are subjected to the hardships dealing with the family alone while healing from injuries incurred during the process of birth.
By allowing fathers to aid with the process of raising a child, homes are easier to hold together as the emotional, mental, and physical strain of maintaining the family is dramatically reduced preventing more broken homes from being created in America.
I'm writing this in conjunction with hopes of mothers having an extended period of maternity leave (longer than two months) and having it mandated that it is paid for.
Thank you for giving me the time of day.
