The real reason why our schools do not teach philosophy to children is because our schools are being manipulated by political parties and corporations. By allowing philosophy to be taught in school, children are given the opportunity to think so that when they graduate high school, they are not political drones. Philosophy also upholds the American element of individualism too.
Children learn best when they are young and allowing philosophy to be taught to them will be crucial to their psychological and social development. Please allow philosophy to be mandated in school so children do not rely on political parties for help.
