Every day, construction begins on dozens of new homes in the United States. Our economy is growing at--what many say is--an anemic pace. Americans are also hurting for jobs and some financial relief from ever increasing energy prices.
We can solve multiple social and economic problems by simply mandating that each new home (or apartment complex) has to install a minimum of 1,500kWh of solar panels on solar-South facing roof. We could:
1. Improve job creation,
2. Reduce dependency on fossil fuels,
3. Reduce global warming,
4. Improve air quality,
5. Increase home values,
6. Create new technology jobs, and more...
