Mandate the reduction of pay, benefits, & funding for ALL federal elected positions by 50% to assist with budget reform.

Our federal elected officials continue to plan for budget reductions to our military and the rest of the federal government; however they are not taking any funding from their own offices or benefits.
Make it mandatory that ALL elected federal official's pay, benefits, and office funding is sequestered with a 50% reduction.
If they can vote to reduce every other government office to be reduced then their offices/positions must face the same effects.
Just as it is for the military, serving our nation is a privilege that must be earned, not a right. Until we make serving in a Federal office a cross born by those who truly have the calling we will never get the representation the citizens of the United States of America desires.
