The GSA and various other Federal Government agencies owns billions of dollars of real estate in the US that is sitting vacant and has no plans for their use.

This skyscraper is in a prime location on State Street in The Loop and is worth over $100 Million, but since it has been sitting vacant for many years, the condition continues to degrade and value declines.
There needs to be a review of the vacant properties, auctions to sell them and partnerships with the cities to get them occupied by businesses and families again.
Failure to act will eventually result in demolition expenses and lost revenue opportunities.
