Mandate in the state of California that all street police have a body camera on their person.

Created by R.W. on October 04, 2015

Everywhere people can see how police officers are getting a terrible name for themselves. This is caused by many videos of police misconduct from the cameras of civilians. In the city of San Diego, police body cams have been enforced and has had several positive effects from it. It now, without a question, has helped the integrity of the police department and gives the police officers accountability. Another reason that this is a great thing, is that it has now saved several dollars in court cases and will continue to do so. The state would not have to go court every time a criminal calls for misconduct, but will only have to send in the video from the body cam. From implementing a simple body cam on police officers accountability, integrity, money, and lives will be saved.
