In 2015, there were 372 mass murders--described as four (4) death or more-- killing 475 and wounding 1,870: death by guns is the biggest under-researched public health epidemic in this country, and our surgeon general should act on this.
The White House should command the office of the surgeon general to begin conducting research, and publishing peer-reviewed articles on gun death in this country that will lead to evidence base solutions to reduce gun deaths.
Death by a gun is a multiple geographical-racial issue - impacting blacks in urban cities as well as whites in rural areas.
Please support this petition to have a serious discussion in this country that leads to a reduction of a preventable death.
