I believe that ALL members of congress, regardless of which party they are affiliated with, are more focused on self serving than they are on creating a more perfect union. Why isn't there any progress on the amendment introduced by Republican Jim DeMint? Perhaps forcing members of the House and Senate to actually work for their pay would enhance the effort put forth. We will perish with our current representation of career politicians.
