Mandate the use of body cameras on police officer uniforms.

Created by K.S. on November 24, 2014

In light of the non-indictment of police officer Darren Wilson, accused of shooting and killing Michael Brown, there has been an outcry of the people -- YOUR people -- for justice and transparency. The charges never came to be because of a lack of physical evidence; the use of body cameras on police uniforms would provide such physical evidence. As such, I petition the United States government to introduce a federal law mandating these cameras on all police officer uniforms, to be worn and in-use at all times, to prevent such tragedies from happening again. If the police have nothing to hide, this should be nothing to fear.
