Mandate the use of e-readers in grades levels k-12.

Created by C.S. on April 19, 2013

E-readers such as Kindles, Nooks, iPads, etc. can be used as a replacement to paper textbooks in public schools. E-readers offer a cheaper alternative to purchase textbooks, and keep them all in the same place - without the possibilty of the books being lost, stolen, or damaged.

E-readers may be issued out to students to take back and forth from school for studying purposes. This allows for easy updates on homework and assignments.

Having digital tracking of all student work opens a pathway for enviromental protection by reducing the amount of paper used, while simultaneously preparing young students for the constantly advancing and fast approaching techonological era of the twenty-first century.
