Our Veterans deserve better patient care from the VA Healthcare System. Currently it takes in some cases 2-4 years to have Veteran disability claims processed by the VA. There is not currently any mobile apps to lessen the burden on the VA healthcare system and provide better care to Veterans.
Mobile technology applications would allow Veterans to view their medical records, view and cancel appointments, and allow Veterans to update their current medical conditions.
Approx. 900,000 Veterans are currently waiting on a decision about their claims while the VA paid retroactively $437 million dollars to 19,500 Veteran families who died waiting to hear a decision on their claims in the last fiscal year.
