Mandated school supply lists are a form of taxes

Created by F.O. on August 09, 2014

In recent years schools throughout the nation have increased the mandated supply lists on parents every year.

These supply lists can add up to in some cases up to $75 per child while the school systems are spending millions on Flat Screen TV's, Mac Computers, AppleTV's and laptops for classrooms.

This petition is requesting that mandated school supply lists are considered a form of tax of parents by the school systems and make these expenses be tax deductible.

Also school systems should also track these mandated supply lists costs and report to the public how much they are demanding that parents supply to the schools.
