Immediately introduce legislation that requires the federal government to apply all new revenues to our national debt. As we continue to see increased taxes on the "wealthy", it is imperative we see accountability to those dollars. Politics aside, we spend more than we take it. We need intelligent cuts in addition to increased revenues while reducing the deficit. If we have to pay more, we should have a say on where it goes. Increased spending is not acceptable and cannot be tolerated.
We need to demand that the principal debt be paid down and have public transparency to the progress.
