Mandatory Criminal Sentences for using Firearms in any Crime with in the United States and its Territories.

Created by T.G. on December 18, 2012

To set mandatory Criminal Sentences for the use of a firearm in criminal activities. These Sentences would have to be served in total before subject of the criminal activity would even begin to serve the Sentence for the crime they were convicted of. Nor would these Sentences be applied to good time, or would they apply to time served for application of parole.

Example:

1st Offense 5 years for weapons use, plus time from crime.
2nd Offense 10 years for weapons use.
3rd Offensive 15 years for weapons use.

This type of penalty with no good time, or time served towards a parole application might send the message that firearms crimes sentences are harsher than the same crime without a firearm.

Let the United States Criminalized the Action not the Firearm.
