Mandatory Drug Screening for Federal Aid Recipients

Created by N.L. on January 12, 2013

While we support the continuation of government assistance to those unfortunate enough to find themselves temporarily unemployed, we wish the federal government to mandate that all federal aid recipients pass a comprehensive drug screening before receiving benefits. All recipients of federal aid should make utilizing such aid to its maximum potential a priority. A vast majority of employers require employees to submit to initial and random drug screening in order to boost productivity and promote workplace safety. We should expect no less from those who must aggressively search for employment.
