We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Mandatory drug testing for all elected officials and candidates.

Created by J.K. on October 11, 2016

The American people deserve elected officials who function without the aid of illegal drugs. The use of intoxicants is rampant across ages, races, religions, genders, ethnicities, and economic backgrounds. To protect America from unstable, drug-addicted people is of the utmost importance.

Just as in private industry, many government jobs require screening for drug use. From the post office to the VA to NASA to the Department of Defense, applicants and employees are screened for drugs that will impair their work.

We demand that the civil servants at the very top, who set economic policy, order military action, who control the course of America, be given pre-screening and random drug testing through their campaigns and tenures, to ensure the safety and security of the American people.
