Mandatory drug testing of elected officials in the legislative branch.

Created by L.K. on December 07, 2015

Mandatory drug testing of elected officials in the legislative branch.

Because of the critical nature of many jobs in the federal government, random drug testing is required as a condition of employment. These testing policies should be extended to include the legislative branch.

All members of the House of Representatives and the Senate shall take the tests upon the swearing of their oath of office and randomly throughout their tenure.
