We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Mandatory Federal Charges and Sentences for Killings Committed While Abusing Power

Created by A.J. on September 20, 2016

Over the last 10 years America's attention has been drawn to several killings of unarmed citizens by law enforcement officials. Law enforcement agencies are trained and managed at a variety of levels... County, city, state, federal, etc... We understand that the cultures that build and actions deemed acceptable vary because of that. Tragically, these varying cultures have fostered environments where it is acceptable to exercise the abuse of power. As a nation we ask Congress to immediately intervene, implementing legislation to address the abuse.

We are requesting legislation which would make it the highest class of felony for murders committed in the conjunction with the abuse of power by a law enforcement official at any level; under federal law and with mandatory minimum sentences.
