We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Mandatory Law that requires anyone who wants to babysit or provide care to any child must have a full background check

Created by A.N. on July 14, 2016

You can never be to careful when it comes to who is watching your child. There is no law that requires anyone who babysits or provides care to a child out of a day care or state paying setting to do a background check or even register that they are providing care to a child. No accountability , no record. No proof. No procedure to ensure your child is in fact in safe hands. Anyone can accept the job as a babysitter and fake the part of being the best and get paid for it. There are countless children in the U.S whom are harmed or killed every day by the hands of a babysitter. There should be a mandatory process for all private paid babysitters to have to register and do a back ground check in order to legally babysit. This could help thin out the ones who intend to do harm or have before.
