Every day, there are horrific news stories of babies and children being savagely beaten, starved, sexually abused. To many times the parents or caretakers are given "slap on the wrist" sentences. Any person that can do these type of atrocities to a baby or a child are inherently evil. Evil cannot be rehabilitated with time served in prison or counseling. The only deterrent is the fear of being imprisoned for life, or imprisoning these persons for life.
We owe this to the innocents that will live with the scars of their tormentors for life, if they survive the torment at all. I am begging that every decent person stand up for these innocents and say, "ENOUGH!"
