Mandatory for Police to carry non-lethal firearms as the primary piece when on patrol.

In times of societal tension, it is my belief that this puts a lot of stress on police officers regardless of their location of occupation.
In the hopes, that this may save the lives of many individuals subject to the aggression performed by police, I would like to advocate for a change in the type of weaponry that police officers use as their primary sidepiece for response.
I propose that we develop, a non-lethal alternative to the current Glock, that seems to be standard issued weapon used by most county police.
As we know Air Marshals use a Dart-Firing Stun Gun, with which available technology and revenue can be modified to meet the demands of any urban environment (i.e. Tranquilizers, Rubber bullets, Stun bullets (assigned with capped voltage) etc...).
