Mandatory prison time for anyone maliciously making false reports to DCPP or Child Protective Services.

Created by A.P. on April 22, 2016

When someone calls in a false report to DCPP or Child Protective Services solely for the purpose to harass or cause trouble for someone's family, it takes away time and resources from caseworkers who are already overloaded with cases. It's a misuse of taxpayers money and resources that are needed for genuine cases of child abuse and/ or neglect. When someone calls from another state to report false allegations, it should automatically become a federal offense with mandatory prison time. Anonymous calls should be traced and those people should be held accountable for their actions. Too many family's are being harassed by vindictive neighbors or family members who just want to cause problems.
