The shocking number of cruelty cases reported daily in the media is only the tip of the iceberg in animal abuse.
There are two types of cruelty inflicted on animals by humans. These include passive cruelty, such as cases of neglect. Here, it is generally lack of action to prevent pain and suffering of the animal. Starvation, dehydration, improper shelter, etc. Active cruelty are malicious acts where the abuser intentionally harms the animal. The animal is beaten, whipped, burned, etc.
I believe that these people should pay for their disgusting behavior. I want to make it so animal abusers have to register (like sex offenders.) It should be made public record for employers & everyone else!
