march ahead towards accessible, economic and environment-friendly transportation through out the country.

Dear President,

I am from India and have been here in the past on business and work trips too. The one thing which brings a sharp contrast between US and India is that the public commuting/transportation is very much sporadic and undependable in this country.

For example some states like Louisville have good transportation. I have been to places like Nashua, suburban areas of Greater Chicago city where buses and metra do not operate on the weekends.

I have a suggestion. How about augmenting the transport infrastructure by bringing in more transport workers from developing countries. For example, back at home in my country, we have six seaters where people share the ride. This way the amount of dependance on gasoline would also come down. It would give a chance of better economy.
