Marijuana use should be the choice of the person who is using it and not of the government.
We call this country free but in a free country anything that does not harm others is legal. I know that marijuana use does not affect anyone other than the person using it, because only their life sees the disadvantages of use.
You say it will increase crime, but it already funds huge crime organizations because of the profits they make off selling it on the black market.
You say its addictive and a health hazard, but alcohol and tobacco are even more so and those are both legal.
You say it will ruin people's lives, but you are already ruining millions of people's lives by throwing them in jail and giving them a criminal record for a non-violent possession charge.
Well I say let us choose!
