The United States Presidents appearing on the currency of the United States were chosen in 1923. It is time that the thing that too often times matters most in America, money, better reflect the many cultures of our American Society, while also recognizing the achievement of one of our greatest American citizens, Dr. Martin Luther King.
With the voting rights act of 1964, the American Revolution was finally made complete for people of color in our nation. This achievment is due largely in part to the work of Dr. Martin Luther King. Dr. King's ability to achieve this goal through his commitment to non-violence, and to democratic process are acts worthy of symbolizing on our nations currency. Please join us in memorializing the life and lessons of Dr. Martin Luther King.
