Mass pardon non-violent felons to restore voting rights #blacklivesmatter

Created by N.S. on July 29, 2015

In the United States, over six million people are denied the right to vote because of felony disenfranchisement, a majority of which are people of color, who are disproportionately arrested, convicted, and subsequently denied the right to vote.

President Obama, use your executive powers to stop this system of institutionalized racism, the 'New Jim Crow' that is incarcerating generation after generation of young African American men and Latinos.

We ask that you mass pardon all non-violent felons in the United States of America and its territories who have completed their sentences as a small step towards restorative justice.
