The education system in America is broken. Ask any student if they like going to school, and the answer is probably going to be a resounding "No." Few people have any fond memories of going to school, and it's almost always remembered as a stressful time in life. As the child of someone in the military, I've come to realize that different states use totally different standards. This approach simply does not work. Even worse, are tests like the EOC, which are required to be taken in Middle school, but Directly effect whether or not a student can graduate high-school later. The core classes have not changed in any way for years, and neither have teaching methods. The education system is a mess, and only we, the people of the United States of America, can fix it.
