Living is getting pricier every day, but our wages are staying the same. As consumers we buy a lot of products that are a necessity in our daily lives, meat products being one of them. As consumers I think we should have full access to all the reasons meat prices go up. I work in a meat department of a grocery store and I see every week the pricing of meats from the suppliers, and every week I see those prices go up. The chicken I see are so big it feels like the chicken farmers have too much chickens on their hands, so there should not be any reason for chicken to be so expensive but demand. There's got to be a stop somewhere, and as consumers who are living on a fixed income can't afford to feed ourselves. Give us the reason meat is so high, and lower the prices.
