This petition is to enter MA2 Mark Mayo for being awarded the Medal of Honor, for his selfless heroism: MA2 Mayo shielded his shipmate from a crazed gunman on the 24th of March 2014, on-board the USS Mahan, and was fatally wounded as a result. MA2 Mayos actions protected his shipmate and were deserving of this nations highest honor! Please help in seeing to it that the nation recognizes him for his sacrifice, and sign this petition.
