Media outlets shall not refer to mass murderers directly, by name, or by act (shooter)

Created by C.G. on December 16, 2012

Request voluntary compliance from all media outlets, requiring that perpetrators of mass murder events not be referred to directly, by name, or by act (shooter). They may say that there was a mass murder event and the number of victims. They shall not reference the perpetrator in any way, in the hope that if there is no fame or infamy associated by committing mass murder and going out in a blaze of glory there will be a reduction in the number of mass murder events.
