I am asking you to consider a Bill that would make Medical Expenses for Seniors on fixed incomes to be considered on a pre-tax basis.
Many Seniors are paying out much more than they receive in Social Security to pay for Medical Expenses (premiums, deductibles, co-pays, etc.) either by drawing down an IRA, 401K, etc. This creates increased income.
Remember...the greater the medical expenses, the greater the income...income that most Seniors do not have!
Let's give Seniors a break by reducing their Tax Liability
