Medical marijuana patients and their collectives, in states where it is medically legal, are not federal criminals.

Created by B.K. on August 23, 2013

Now that 20 states allow marijuana to be used medicinally, there's a catch 22 that needs to be addressed. How can a citizen of the USA simultaneously be legally medicating on their state level, but be federally liable for a schedule 1 drug.

This puts patients is the unenviable position of risking their freedom while treating their symptoms, reducing their pain, or treating their condition. It is unfair for our government to put patients in the position of choosing to risk federal criminal arrest to (state-level) legally help their medical conditions.

President Obama please address and fix this discrepancy.
