Our tax dollars pay for handicap Medicare equipment , like power chairs , hospital beds, wheel chairs, lifts, etc. You see in the paper all the time people selling this stuff and some of it has only been used for a short time, the person dies and the family sells the item. It was not the family's item to sell. This stuff should have a drop off place to be cleaned , refurbished if needed , and given to someone else that needs it. That would also create jobs for people work at these drop off points and get the items ready someone else.
All of these items are very expensive , and this would save a lot of money .
