In case you haven't seen Gasland, the novelty of being able to light the water out of your faucet on fire is something you never thought possible in America. It may surprise you even more to know that there are 1000's of families whose water wells have become toxic waste sites potentially for centuries because of Natural Gas Drilling. The same natural gas drilling that Obama supported in saying, "my administration will take every possible action to safely develop this energy," .... How?
I believe in Barack Obama, but I don't believe he has built a dynamic view of the incredible dangers of fracking. I am asking that the President meet with these families and hear the true cost of "safe".
