Shelby County Commissioner Heidi Shafer nominated Mr. Nicholas Pegues at age twenty five to represent East Memphis and Germantown,Tennessee as a Shelby County Unified School Board Applicant.Mr. Pegues was apart of The White House Press Corps when President Barack Obama visited Memphis in May of 2011.At age twenty five Mr. Pegues have recieved letters from The Vatican,Windsor Castle and the United States Department of Education just to name a few notable institutions of the world.It is the will of Mr. Pegues that President Barack Obama meet Shelby County Commissioner Heidi Shafer and honor them both for their service to the children of Memphis.Both Commissioner Shafer and Mr. Pegues are Republicans but we all must agree on one thing that education must be put first before politics.
