We are writing this letter on behalf of our dear friend Baxter Jones, of Detroit, Michigan, who is currently on a HUNGER STRIKE since September 13, 2015. Mr. President, as you read this letter, we hope that you will please consider this to be a very time sensitive and serious matter. Mr. Jones has resorted to this extreme action of desperation and sacrifice because, he has exhausted all other measures for obtaining justice. He identifies with victims of hardship who become vulnerable to predatory, manipulative, practices that misuse power, value greed, and devalue Human and Civil Rights. He is calling for our government to reevaluate, prioritize, and restore, increased protections that respectfully serve all of us.
