Meet with Carlos Warner (and his team) to facilitate closure of Guantanamo. POTUS should play basketball with Warner.

Guantanamo can be closed, but it requires active participation from the White House. The White House must coordinate different factions within the Executive that thwart closure of the base. DOD, DOJ and the State Department must work together with counsel for the detained to form a solution. Current officials within the DOD refuse to engage attorneys for the detained. DOJ seeks to limit the detained from accessing attorneys. The State Department has solutions for repatriation in hand, but cannot implement the solutions because, in large part, of infighting within the Executive. Mr. Warner has made dozens of trips to Guantanamo. He knows the men detained and he knows how to close Guantanamo. His client has asked that he "post up" POTUS. If basketball assists in closure, he will oblige.
