Meet with movie, video game, and music industry CEOs, asking them to step up and make a pledge to turn down the violence

Created by B.H. on March 01, 2013

Let's ask the Obamas to meet with video game, movie, music and television CEOs and challenge them to exercise social responsibility by substantially reducing gun and other violence, vulgarity, and nudity in content they produce – to make an effort to deliberately consider more positive and morally grounded themes.
Second, the Obamas might challenge all Americans to boycott movie, video game and music rentals and purchases, movie theaters, and television, if for just one day. Perhaps on May 1, 2013, we should turn our backs on ALL content, good and bad, to demonstrate our power, displeasure, and determination to turn the tide back toward good. Small sacrifice. Big message.
These executives must be made aware now of the huge role they play in the nurturing of violence in today's society.
