Meet with Steve Ballmer and demand that he re-instate the desktop Start button and Start Menu on Windows 8.

Created by J.W. on November 29, 2012

Microsoft Windows 8 was first available for download as a Developer Release about a year-and-a-half ago. Since the very beginning, it was clear that folks were dismayed at the destruction of the classic start button and associated menu.

Microsoft Windows, the best-known and best-selling software package of all time, and a shining example of American ingenuity, has now become the laughingstock of the world due to its implementation of touch-capable features on non-touch-capable devices.

This situation reflects badly upon the United States of America and more importantly, could have dire economic consequences if left in its current state.

For the sake of all of us, please meet with Steve Ballmer and demand that he do what's right and restore the Windows Start button and menu.
