For members of congress, white house, and judicial branch of government to include themselves in the furloughs, pay cuts, and other loss of benefits involving government cuts in spending that only are impacting middle class and lower middle class people thus far.
Approval ratings for congress and other branches of government are abysmally low even by those that elected them. Maybe it is obvious that if members of congress and other branches of government where directly impacted by there lack of ability to solve or even manage the problems that we elected them for they would work towards a solution instead of playing politics. If the president and members of congress also took pay cuts it would demonstrate that there is a sense of fairness, ethics, and moral values within our government.
